I'm Madeline, a UX Designer and Freelance Creative based in Austin, Texas. I am passionate about creating digital environments that streamline necessary processes in such a way that is broadly accessible, mathematically aesthetic, and user-centered. In June of 2023, I completed Google's UX Designer Professional Certification, to establish a formal education in the foundations and principles of user experience design.
I've been a proud Texas Ex since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022. My degree in psychology and behavioral research experience allows me to conduct, interpret, and present user research with efficacy. Additionally, I participated in the UTeach program for Secondary Mathematics Education where I discovered my passion for geometrically based design. Being able to utilize these various skills together in UX and design work is fulfilling and motivating.
Outside of design work, I enjoy taking my dog to Austin's beautiful parks, like Zilker or Pease Park. I also enjoy seeing stand up comedy shows and live music (you might catch me at the Creek and the Cave on Thursdays or Bob Schneider at Saxon Pub Monday nights). Experiencing creativity around me through these various mediums inspires me to give time to my photography and sewing hobbies. I am very lucky to have found a field of work that encompasses what I enjoy both on and off the clock.
